Shayne Bolton is another Irish-qualified recruit, having joined Connacht in 2021 from his native South Africa. Known for his lightning pace, the centre qualifies for Ireland through his grandmother and made a return to his home country during the 2021/22 tour of South Africa, coming off the bench in the win over the Emirates Lions in Johannesburg.
